Staurolites are also known as Fairy Stones or Fairy Cross stones because they possess an energy that will guide and help you in communicating with beings from our natural world, including elementals and fairies.  Some Staurolites have naturally-occurring   crosses on them; some have straight lines; but all of them, regardless of their shape and size, exhibit the same frequency or energy.  These stones are grounding, can aid in reducing fear and anxiety, and can help you quit bad habits and unhealthy addictions.  It is an excellent stone to work with on your recovery journey, whether it’s drugs, alcohol, smoking, eating poorly, or others.  Carry it with you, or place it in your pillowcase when you are sleeping.
